Welcome to Embrace Magic!

Hello and welcome to the new and improved Embrace Magic!

When I previously launched this site, I intended to sell my services as a Jewitch and life coach. From my work within these realms, I have since realized that what I really want to do is provide therapy. I want to work with people who are dealing with trauma, PTSD, and other serious mental health conditions, and in order to do this I need professional mental health training.

Therefore, I decided to get a Master's in Social Work, and am currently enrolled in the MSW program at Metropolitan State University of Denver. My eventual end goal is to become licensed to practice independently and open my own practice where I offer psychedelic therapy. This will take 4+ years minimum, so in the interim I may blog here occasionally about what I’m learning, or on other topics that interest me.

I have had a wide and wandering life path thus far, which has lead me quite literally around the world and towards many different professions and interests. Through all of this exploration, I’ve experienced profound joy, heartbreak, disappointment, and tranquility. Most of all, what I’ve learned is how to embrace the magic both around me and within me. That’s what this site is about: embracing the magic around you, whether that’s through visual art, poetry, music, or something else.
